Completed Lodge [Warwickshire]

Last year Mr & Mrs Rawden of Warwickshire decided to convert an old barn on their land into a family home. Planning permission was obtained for temporary accommodation but only for the duration of the construction. A 3 year time limit was agreed and their original house was put on the market, and subsequently sold with part of their original land.

The thought of living in a static caravan during the work on the barn was considered but as a middle aged couple they had grown accustomed to a more comfortable lifestyle.

We were contacted and designed a ‘Transportable Timber Home’ to their specific requirements. A home with enough space for 2 dogs and family when they visited. The home we built was on a timber chassis and could be lifted by a crane onto a lorry. The lifespan of our homes is in excess of 50 years. In 3 years time this timber home ,furnished by the Rawden’s could be sold for a profit,or used as an additional home annexe/holiday rental lodge .
Viewing Can be arranged for potential customers.

Farm workers dwelling [Wrexham]

Mr Davis has a agricultural and livestock farm on the outskirts of Wrexham. To enable planned expansion an additional dairyman was required. Due to the isolated position of the farm a home was required. The planning department would only grant a temporary approval for a three year period. We applied therefore for a Transportable Timber Cabin, insulated for year round use and built on a wheeled chassis. After 3 years full approval for the home was granted.

The Smallest Transportable Cabin is the ‘Rutland’. It has all the features of the larger homes ie Full Insulation vaulted ceiling in 20mm T@G timber Solid timber floors, double with cavity filled with insulation. From £23,000
