As with any Self Build project, research is key, and having spoken to Alan at MobileTimberHomes.com and after several on-site visits to existing project’s, My Wife and I placed our order.
At this stage we felt it was quite a leap of faith, but the team at Timber Mobile Homes were always on hand to answer any questions, and also kept us up to date on progress.
Having confirmed our design, and prepared the base, our agreed delivery day arrived, and Alan was on hand to oversee the delivery, once off loaded and un packed, we arranged the timber into size order as advised by Paul and Wayne, who had been very helpful during the site visits.
Paul and Wayne arrived on site on the next working day as agreed, they set out the sub frame and got us on our way, by also building the first two levels, this was so important, and helped us understand the building process, from that point on, everything has gone exactly as it should, and by day 4 the main structure was complete.
The precision with which the kit has been manufactured in the factory, to the support from Alan and the team, has made our build a grate decision, and has provided us with a quality building, it’s almost hard to believe, but only myself, my Wife and a friend have been involved in this build, and I would recommend it to anyone.
We are now in the final stage of our build, and look forward to moving in to our new home.
